What to do if your electricity supply is off?

Your electricity supply is operated and maintained by NIE Transmission and Distribution (NIE T&D). If your electricity supply is off, we’ll outline your options below.

Emergencies or loss of supply

In these circumstances, you need to contact  NIE T&D on 03457 643 643. Lines are open 24 hours per day. You can also find information on http://www.nie.co.uk/

For your convenience, the NIE T&D emergency number is also printed at the top of each bill you receive from Electric Ireland.

Connections / Reconnections

To find out how to apply for a connection or get your home reconnected, contact NIE T&D on 03457 643 643 or apply at www.nienetworks.co.uk.

How much will it cost?

The NIE Networks Statement Of Charges sets out the process and costs involved in connecting to the network.

You can get further information on your connection agreement with Electric Ireland by reading our conditions of contract.
