Keypad meters
What happens if my keypad meter credit is low and I can't top up?
If the credit on your keypad meter runs out, you can get £3 emergency credit, this means you are borrowing £3 until you top up again.
If your credit reduces to £1 your keypad meter alarm will sound for 2 minutes and repeat every half hour (not between the hours of 10pm and 8am) to tell you your credit is low. The alarm can be silenced by pressing any button on the keypad meter. To get your emergency credit press any button on the keypad meter when this alarm sounds.
The £3 emergency credit will then be deducted automatically from your next top up amount.
